Lost a friend

I lost a friend a week or so ago
To a sensless act of unwanted violence.
Why did he have to go
When he had so much to live for.
He had a fiance, he had a kid
He had his whole life ahead..

Yet with a person sick in the brain
Decided a few passing comments
Were worth killing him for.
In front of witnesses, his fiance.. his child.
Why did you take my friend away.

Why did the universe allow him to go.
Here i am ready, any of your gods will know.
Ive tried time after time to leave
Why take those who deserve to stay
Yet keep those who want to die.

I am lost, a wondering soul.
Forever cursed to this world of hate..

    I don't think you want to die. Like me, I think you are dying for a reason to live. There is a sadness and deep emotion to your writing as a whole, but whether you realize it or not... I also see light, and I see hope. Take care, and keep writing. You'll always have a reader in me.

    Such I sad and horrendous thing to read about.

    Sending long distance hugs to you and that poor woman and child.

    I do belive in god in my own way and I hope your friend resides beside him.

    Without heaven there can be no hell
    And I hope the guy responsible for this atrocious act rots in there for all eternity.
