Some people
Will hate you
Based off of the way that
Other people love you.
Some people
Will care for you
Just enough so that
They can gain something
Out of you.
Some people will
Never truly tell you
What you truly mean
To them.
Some people will
Only tell you about
The negative things
You mean to them.
Some people will
Only have
One way conversations with you
And every time you interject
They'll again revert the conversation back to them.
Some people will
Only sit and listen,
Not wanting to give any information,
But wants to hold all of it
To themselves.
Some people will
Always, and I mean always,
Hate every little thing about You,
No matter how kind you are,
How much positivity you share,
How much you give people
Your love and care.
Some people will hate you
Simply because you are you,
And they will envy you
Like a spoiled child who
Doesn't get his candy.
Some of these people
Will be in your life,
And hey, that's ok,
It's a learning experience.
What I ask of you
Is to not become like
Some of those people.
