More than a Feeling (Boston)

by Meena Krish   May 18, 2017

How was it...

Across the vast seas
a bridge was built by you and me
with more than a feeling or two,
without asking for any fee
just dreams to agree
life grew into a thriving tree;

With you as my days
to set the moon ablaze
more than a feeling comes to lay,
I never knew a bond can raise
two distant hearts to stay
forever this way
with more than a feeling or two!

    While reading this I felt the same upbeat feeling I get when I listen to the song that prompted this. I felt happy and energized and even though this was a short piece it was really well done. Each skill used was a great example of perfection in that category. The life in this piece was amazing and the flow was perfectly smooth. Flawlessly penned piece!

    I loved this poem because I understand what your saying and agree with every word. Bridges are built often without material things, bridges that are stronger even then those built with our own two hands.
