The very Breath of me

by AngelaLuisaCory   May 18, 2017

You are my isolation, desolation
Succour to my mind
You are the heart of me apart
The answers I can't find.

I will seek forever more
Your stars that light the way
In dappled, vibrant, twilight haze
In waking night and day.

For you're the very breath of me
And all that is within
The heather on the moors of life
With lilac thoughts akin.

You are the song among the boughs
On murmured breeze and eaves
Of all the future's morrows
And of autumn's red-gold leaves

Beautiful imagery, I enjoyed the word play with light, and I sence a love for nature in here as well.
