Friends

True friends
are hard to find
They are the summer when our lives seems to be the winter
This world is full of broken hearts
and wrong friendships
We choose not to fight for ourselves sometimes
because we think we deserve the people that hurt us

    That rings true for a lot of people. I really liked the saying "You're only as good as the company you keep", and I think that holds true here too. Why surround yourself with negative people? Insightful poem.
