A POET'S HEART

A POET’S HEART

The many secrets hidden there bare the Soul, a varied mixture, not something you can put in a bowl. When you take the Heart apart what do you see, many broken dreams, a lost love or two, many a mystery, a deep desire to break the bounds of reality, to create a new life that was never to be.

Was that Fairy Tale that you formed in your mind created at the Pub where you both fell in love, or was it that big buzz from that tall Ale? How about when you took your small Skiff out for an afternoon sail, your faces became pale when you felt the sting of the hail from the sudden Spring Gail, you both nervously laughed as you did bail.

What else is in this Heart too see, much misery, secret desires that your Prose may expose, who knows but the Poet’s Heart, their words lay open the answer from the start.

When you explore the Poet’s Heart, there you will find me also, my story is to be told, verses that come straight from my Soul.

You know that we are true brothers in Prose, like you who else would write a poem about a Toad or a Nose?
      Love ya Ben.
