THE ANT AND THE FLEA

THE ANT AND THE FLEA

One Day an Ant and a Flea did meet, they sat down together to rest before looking for something to eat. The Ant chided the Flea by saying; have you seen my big home and how far me and the family do roam? The Flea replied; golly, I’m just one Flea but someone’s pet I can drive to hysteria when a nice bite from me they get, and how high I can jump to alight on their rump.

The Ant laughed and said; where do you hide when the cold Winter does abide? The Flea said, I sneak under a rug where my spider friend gives me a hug. The Ant then said, the *Bible backs the Tale I tell, we work all Summer long loading our bins with loot, so when the ground is frozen hard in your yard, we don't give a hoot, we are happily feasting on our honey and lard.

*Ants--they aren't strong, but they store up food all summer. Proverbs 30:25

Another amusing little tale, Ken. This reminds me of a fable put to rhyme.

    Nominated.

    All the very best,
