BE THEE NOR YE

BE THEE NOR YE

There is; something in common,
Do not rush
Find out

You are not ye,
One visage; one identity
How many do you have?

Sophistry neither covers nor rain,
There is a cover
Embrace thyself for who you are

Do not lose thy identity
Thy roots
Isn't that who you are?

Or is identity merely a mirror of those around you? How many characteristics have you inherited? How many habits have you learned? Are we not products of our environment? And if we are, is that not our mask? We adapt to change, and so our mask changes. Roots are where you came from but not always where you end up. I say instead sow your seed in an environent which you want to reflect... a mask you are proud to wear.
