Your Laughter

by Mortal Utopia   Jun 2, 2017

When I went
deep, deep into the water,
I could still hear echoes of your laughter –
like whispers loud enough
to sooth the wailing sea.

Or perhaps it sounded like a hushed melody:
beautiful with distance,
woven into the shape of Happiness.
