Every night,
I swam in waves of dreams
that came to me
while I dove deep into sleep

These dreams were gentle
but sometimes turbulent

( they sank my will )

I submerged in fantasy
and forgot to breath in :

the reality

that they were just

dreams

And so I swam,
until I almost drown to my wake;
grasping for air!

Seems like an eternity since I last commented on one of your poems, I have been such a slacker recently.

This poem is right up my street, a dreamy head swimming poem.
    Gets you thinking as well.

    Nice write

(apologies for crap comment, probably why I slacked in the first place...)

Thank you Darren. No worries. It happens. I haven't been commenting either. I'm barely writing as well. I also like your comment. Thanks again.
