Daggers of Depression

by Kasie   Jun 3, 2017

A life once lived inside this flesh,
Twas happy and divine.
But daggers sliced the flesh from bone,
And left the light behind.

Embracing darkend shadowed thoughts,
Dubbing them my friend.
I walk the plank of fear alone,
And stumble to the end.

Now on the edge of life and death,
Surrounded by the murk.
Looking to the darkness blind,
Watching shadows lurk.

They wait and watch for me to fall,
From this plank I'm on.
Into the darkend black abyss,
Doomed to roam alone.
