In The Weather

by Rhinehalt   Jun 6, 2017

Sitting with the midday sun
As the distant smell of rain rolls in,
My head held high with intent to listen
And watch the clouds thicken.
Nothing to disturb, nothing to mind,
Only the sound of a seagull.
Content in my way,
With a breath, with a smile.
I welcome the coming storms.
