Angel's Drink Coffee

by Maple Tree   Jun 6, 2017

Upon an early dawning
they bounce above the sky
watching over little ones
with a twinkle in thier eye.

Where they get the energy
I simply do not know
flittering thier feathery wings
halos start to glow.

They keep a watch on little ones
sweet babes within a bed
sleepy tots with dreamy thoughts
full tummies from being fed.

These angel's never faulter
grow weary, or burden sorrow
they only grant them hope
for brighter days tomorrow.

These miracles are truly magical
Keeping Little ones from harm
they lounge about drinking coffee
singing lullabies upon a rocker arm.

Really sweet and it saddens me a little especially as they're so innocent yet so vulnerable especially in the world today!!
