The Cranes (Tanka)

by mossgirl19   Jun 7, 2017

The cranes bright in white
Are here when the fields are full
Now barren, the crops
Have gone, but the cranes managed
To remain in white, alive.

Again, syllables all right and correct. I believe the tanka usually deals with matters of the heart where this veers more toward nature, but I think that's okay too. Anyway, nicely done again.

    All the best,
