Ambrosia

by CJ Maleney   Jun 8, 2017

This is a thing that I can't have
The delicacy for those eternal hosts
But I don't like being told what to do
So I'm gonna try it, but it may be only once

I'll hide bellow the table
Or sneak into those halls
Slither in so stealthily
My back braced against the walls

You may think that I'm not worthy
Perhaps you would be right
But ya gotta know this is who I am
A child born of will and fight

Not one to embrace without question
I won't adhere to stupid rules
But one who'll always challenge
The stupid words of fools

If those ethereal beings sense my presence
Then I think I'm gonna have to run
But I'll drop my pants as I pass the door
And show em all my bum.

At first I thought this was about a naughty child sneaking something from a buffet or some sort of meal that they weren't allowed (or even alcohol lol) or were allergic to (nuts) and hiding under the table saying to hell with this I'll do it anyway then I read your comment and that ending lol.. show em yet bum lad haha *said in a northern accent* I need to try this but without lamb, I love meat but can't eat lamb!!

The Ambrosia is a little Greek restaurant in the town of Kalamki on the island of Zakynthos (zanti).

They do a dish called lamb ambrosia. Nothing before or since has passed my lips that could even compare.

Veggies you seriously don't know what your missing should you ever go there.

    ;-)
