I am a Lucky Lady

by mossgirl19   Jun 9, 2017

Was surprised by a monkey, jumping to its feet
Grabbed my hand, “Me Lady, let’s dance to the beat.”
Not even waiting for my permission
There it danced, without utter discretion.
Round and round we swirled
Never have I been so twirled.

And what the nerve to steal a kiss!
From the lovely lady Mel Liz!
“Urggghh.” How badly I want to spit
But a cute prince appeared in a bit.
Handsome and dashing in a regal purple suit
Ohhh, it seems I had the best of the loot!

And where is this saint you say?
Asking about the monkey, eh?
The last time I remember a saint is not a member
so reveal yourself, mighty Saint Peter!

Oh, no. Oh, it's a wandering minion, we'll put it back to the ember.

P.S. Thank you, handsome Sir.

Actually... the prince IS bananas. The kiss transformed him into a prince... this is a fairytale ball after all.
