A ball of warnings

by Michael   Jun 9, 2017

Now Alfred, no fooling with Miss Rella
You don’t want to end up like a peasant tree dweller
They tell from boughs, tales of her crafty charmed fame
So heed my warning man, keep well distanced
From this impish dark dame!

Now we must keep eyes for in-invited guests
Especially the river folk, they’re blithering pests
They will try to make a unwelcome presence
So make sure security guards patrol the perimeter fence.

And most important, do not forget
Absolutely no strife or trouble can be met
For her royal high-ness Queen of heart
Or the riots and wars will really start.

She will have followers a tricky old bunch
BUT, she will not hesitate if she scents a hunch
Of any malarkey or attempts to annoy
I just hope she doesn’t become too upset
With Helen of Troy.
Whom will also be coming late in the day
Well Alfred, for now that’s all I can say
So be vigilant and beware, of the
The Queens poker-faced evil stare!
