A way to travel

by Michael   Jun 10, 2017

I ride upon a shooting star
and wonder where
you are.

The moon beams offer
guiding lights
through tunnels of darkened
plights.

I'll rest my travels, when I reach
your heart, and hope that we we'll
never part

...and then our sacred sphere,

our love will sway upon a starry chandelier,
with our serenity; crystal clear.

Michael, this is indeed lovely. When we reach that destination with that special person nothing else matters. You really showed that with this write-just lovely.

Michael for some reason I feel this is a little different to your usual type of writing but maybe love has just taken over the town crier, or you've had a spell cast upon you by the wicked sorcerer lol joking aside this is still beautifully written with fantastic rhyming and fantastic imagery.

Title - is rather intriguing and makes you wonder what way are you traveling are you walking, using public transport or thee old broomstick (lol)

1/ Wow then here we have it your riding on your wonderful shooting Star and I feel this is because you so deeply in love that you feel on to of the world which is pretty beautiful.

2/ I love this because to me it says this relationship (like every other) has its ups and downs.
I'll rest my travels, when I reach
your heart, and hope that we we'll
    never part

    "...and then our sacred sphere,"
This is sublime, just yours and your lovers space, woohoo.

3/ Absolutely loved this ending as to me it says right to hell with everything we will make this work and if people try and get it our way then we will only get stronger.

    Fantabulous.

Edit: if this is based on literal events then I am truly happy for you :)

I agree with you in everything. The town crier seems to have shifted somewhere! But a very good shift, cause this is indeed a lovely poem.

      Oh Em,
Such wonderful perspective I love that and just sometimes you feel like expressing, which in truth just comes running through the veins, which could be of truth or purely fantasy. But how a reader, reads is very endearing :)

      And thank you
