Stroll down memory lane

by deeplydesturbed   Jun 11, 2017

Thinking back on life i can see
How quickly its progressed with technology
From stores you hire video tapes
To little USBs in numerous shapes

From a Sony Erison that can flip
To a Nokia 3310 that wont break when you slip
To a new phone once a year
That doesnt need an arial to hear

Movies i watched as a child
(I still remember how I smiled)
Being remade to suit the times
Even all the old nursery rhymes

I swear Im not that old you see
Technology is just moving quickly
Ten years ago the net was new
Now the world cant run without you.

Nams, what a creative write on technology. This is so true, it is moving so quickly. I think back to how I grew up, nothing like what my kids had or even now my grandkids-crazy! Well done-

I miss family time, talking at the dinner table, no phones in bed, actually using a phone to talk to someone...

Lol yep.. i miss finger painting everything!

And my type writer!! Such an amazing thing!! :) and we used to have to get creative. Like using teabags to stain the white paper and dabbing it for effect to make it look aged

Talking at the dinner table...that's a big one. I miss that, too.

      And yes!! Finger painting! :D
