Only Fools Fall in Love

by mossgirl19   Jun 12, 2017

Grief overtakes
My heart rests in unrest
For I have lured a fool
To fall in love with me.

Beguiled-
How fools say that
They are being used
And how they accuse
The wise.

As if it is ever wise
For the wise
To fool the fools.

If love rests in such emptiness
Then only fools fall in love.

Good work, as the Bible says; Out of the abundance of the heart the fool speaks!
So there are many empty words in the fools heart but love is not found there, self love has put real love on the shelf.
Loved these lines that tell all; If love rests in such emptiness
Then only fools fall in love.
