Figured I would mark my 200th with some self indulgent silliness

Hope it makes someone somewhere smile

It did. I love the idea of reminding us that we are after all hand-crafted by God! It speaks of God's concern and affection! Yey, for even the hairs on our heads, are numbered! Good insights throughout the poem. I love the light approach but definitely, the message is not light. Congratulations on your 200th! Wow!

Yay I got a smile, and if the hairs on our heads are numbered, you wouldn't have to count very high with me lol

Craig as I said in my previous comment HAPPY 200th POEMS!! That's an achievement in itself but to write fantastically fluent, rhyming pieces pretty much is also another.

1/ Great question!! Never would have thought of it like this but yes we're all flawed which makes uniquely different and not as boring lol

2/ I'm not a believer but I do like the sentiment here .... We all have a purpose, we just need to find it. Typo on doesn't (I know you write and post without editing so I shall let you off lol)

3/ Love love love this part it's so true we should not let the past or people from the past define us. Speak up and speak clear!!

4/ well I would love to say I'm the latter but I am far from it.. it takes skill to fall over thin air or upstairs, I have that skill ;) lol

5/ Hahaha sorry this made me laugh !! Wouldn't it be funny (weird) if women had them instead and men carried babies?? Lol

6/ Fantastic ending. Yes, none of us are perfect but what we need to do is find someone who loves? our imperfections as much as we love theirs, that's the key here.

All the best and keep penning. I like you're craziness especially when it comes out like this. Here's to another 200 in the future :) :)

      Hey up Em

As always a wonderfully constructed critique. Two things though

      1. If I do spot a typo I'll often edit it but not always grammatical incorrectness, often it's done on purpose

      2. I am not in the slightest bit crazy, the tartan tiger at the bottom of my garden told me so so.

      Hey

      1) That told me lol in all fairness it makes me understand fully now

      2) The fairies at the end of mine told me I'm not too and who am I to question those?? Lol

      Cheeky haha

Craig, I liked this a lot. 200 poems already? Wow, that's impressive! This write rolled smoothly, nicely rhymed. Well done-

Morning Bren, glad you liked. Although I believe in God I like to have a laugh with religion sometimes. And I think the big fella must have a sense of humour. Especially when you consider what he created in us lol
