I'm calling out for you, Is anybody there? Little did you know... I'd still be right here. Beneath my heavy tongue, I'll always feel your haunting answer. Yet, I plead with that voice, "Please don't walk away". I crave you with such force, That my fingers ache. I can still feel every part of you, Just beneath my skin. And all of this is still waiting, To be claimed, only by you. In the quiet paralyzing stillness, That the silence your absence has left. I long for it to be named by you, With a voice, other than my own. To have this yearning love flourish itself, Before it burns to ashes, from self hate. I want to redefine these moments, Not have them be defined by our lazy past. I want to believe you are out there, Anywhere, Pondering about our tragedy, too. I'm waiting, Calling out for you. Is anybody there? Little did you know.... I'd still be right here. I'll always be, Right where you left me.
