From where I am (collaboration with Miss Mel Liz)

by Michael   Jun 21, 2017

Water..

flows, freely from mountain springs
through channels,

...endlessly

I feel envious, as I stand and
gaze; absorbing its spontaneous
rhythm

I rest my feet in its purity; a feeling
so serene, which cleanses the whole
of me.

I question my life, too much
about where I am now.

The water allows me a sense
to relinquish impurities; cleaning
deep within me

Breath-taking blossoms; such an array
of natural colour, unblemished by
humanity; nurtured by the sun.
But their beauty, puts
culture to shame.

Mighty trees victorious over
Frailty; such strength of
dignity

I breathe gently and feel the
wind gushing, almost like I was
meant to take flight

Birds chirp chords; which resonate
a familiar melody.

...but ironically feels distant from me

its all so vague, but I know my heart
belongs here..

..here in this place

I close my eyes; images of natural
beauty fills my vision,
but sadness shatters me
At the same
time
