The light I see you in

by Beautiful Tragedy   Jun 27, 2017

You are so beautiful that I swear
Even the birds get distracted as they fly above you.
I'm surprised,
That cars don't slam their breaks on
To stop and admire you.
That cameras don't flare when your picture is taken;
Nothing can capture your beauty.
That the grass you walk on isn't green all year;
you're so full of life.
That we even need the sun;
Because your smile outshines it any and every day.
I know you probably don't feel these things,
But I do, and you should.
Someday starboy,
I hope I can get you to catch a glimpse of yourself in the light I see you in.
