Desolation

by Michael   Jun 29, 2017

The tide has turned
waves; flow deceit
vigorously; Polluting
my purity.

my island slowly
immersed; drowning
into waters of imposture.

rancorous fluid flows
through; an alien gauge
burrowed deep in my blood.
anti bodies; lay
perished; bones
splinter my arteries

my only liberation;
that I sever; cut free
offer refuge of so Little;
negligible nourishment
to survive

    Stealing a word from the beautiful Lady Mel Liz- this is breathtakingly sad, but so beautifully written. Well done, Michael! And so much love and peace to you!

    How sad to be in a state, but principles will satiate, don't be fed with the little, and for the much do settle, life is still a choice, don't listen to that voice, forever cut the tie and maybe you won't die, in this desolation, in your own frustration.

    A bit of advice, as this poem is so very deep, haha. :-)
