Queen of Procrastination

by mossgirl19   Jul 3, 2017

Please, I’ll forget about us tomorrow
As I still want to lie longer in our bed
In your t-shirt, curled beside your pillow
Don’t hurry; there is so much time ahead.

No, I’m still gonna keep on reminiscing
At least from dawn to dusk today
By tomorrow, I promise I’ll stop loving
But it’s a promise I’m breaking every day.

I know I can start on the task of accepting
And finally take one step to moving on
But I can’t push past my lazy daydreaming
All these time that you have been gone.

Call me the queen of procrastination
Cause’ I may be rightly called so
Holding on seems to be my only medication
Though someday, I know, this laziness will go…

…But not today. Just not today.
