Lost without you...(English sonnet)

by Michael   Jul 11, 2017

Night-time grieves; an emptiness in the skies,
the ebb and flow of the sea comes to rest.
Stars twinkle a vacancy in their eyes,
earth; begins spinning from east to west.
Nocturnal species in confused furore,
weary werewolves; roam the woods in limbo.
Romantic dreams; dashed by the twilight flaw.
Where for art thou moon with candescent glow?
Our world is sad; and under the weather,
in your absence of dazzling beguile.
lunar activities; are under pressure,
hurry back with your shiny; crescent smile.
I yearn your presence; to return above
as missed; your drizzle of luminous love
