Mystic, this is a truly awesome first poem! I love your rhyming and your sentiments in here. I can totally relate with this war in the mind that we experience every day. A great write and welcome to the site! |
Thank you so much! I think it's soothing to know that we are not alone with how we feel. If we are able to relate to one another, it makes us feel more human. Thank you for welcoming me to the site :) |

Firstly welcome to the site, I see you have a wonderful gift for poetry just like your Dad which is lovely to see even if your styles are different as that makes us unique obviously. |
Thank you for welcoming me to the site, I feel that everyone on here has been really welcoming. And yes it's lovely that me and my dad are both into writing poetry, infact he inspired me to start writing poetry just last week which is when I joined the site and I think I have found a new hobby that i love. Thank you for your kind words, yes I agree a lot of people are able to relate which i suppose allows us to not feel alone in our suffering. X |

wow just... wow! You captured the feel, the consequence, the fragility and the pain of those who are suffering from this ailment. I also have been living with anxiety and depression since 2016. I have learned to make amends with the demons in my head. It's more tolerable that way. I did my best in trying to get to know them one by one, in hopes of bringing the peace I yearn for. I hope and I believe that one day, it's gonna get better. |
