    Larry,
This is a marvellous and emotionally charged write. I have to admit to reading this as I sit here listening to a particularly moving track on the wonderful Lana del Rey album 'Lust for Life'.
I don't know if you know what I mean, but sometimes, coincidentally, a track can play over the top of a poem and something just...clicks.
Anyway, I will nominate this later and genuinely hope to see it on the front page next Monday.
    All the best,
    Ben

This is indeed emotionally charged and I really love how you wonderfully described the role of silence in the stages of your love. It's just beautiful.

A beautiful journey of love. How wonderful that even the silences mean something. Loved reading this x

Larry, absolutely love this. It's so real and how a relationship ebbs and flows. Well done-

This actually shows the depth of understanding in a
relationship. Most of the time in that silence many a thing
and emotion can be understood and is known. Words aren't
needed when silence answers all your needs...nice write :)

This poem By Larry is what I classify as a "lift and drop".

The beginning lifts the readers spirits and makes us think of that time when we first met. Nostalgia kicks straight in at this point.

Then comes the drop. Relationships end and sometimes it's not in a good way, in fact they rarely end in a good way. The slam of a door can often be the last sound that you will hear that person make.

But the end is not in sight. We all get a "lift, drop, Lift"

It's not often we read things like this. A happy ending is one that will always make me smile and grow a little tear.

Well written and chronologically thought out . (7)
