July 25th; Our Anniversary

by Maple Tree   Jul 26, 2017

Your eyes;
shadow my tears
when the night
brings heavy burdens.

My love;
our hands intertwine still-
from the first moment we met.

I'll never let you go....
my soul lives within your heart,
you breathe, I exhale
together we finish each day
like it is our last day.

After seven years of kisses
we still finish each other's
sentence: I love you more, you whisper
than I did yesterday, I sigh.

I'll never stop biting my lip
when your grin makes my
eyes sparkle, and I giggle
because I know what you're thinking.

I am grateful for knowing,
loving and living with your
beautiful soul and it's
a special gift to be your wife.

    This is a beautiful little poem and the reader can almost feel the adoration you have for your husband.

    It also made me smile as from the readers writers words, you can still tell that they pick up on the little things.
    As we settle into our relationships and time passes we can often miss that smile and twinkle.

    A lovely write that I'm sure gave many a reader a big smile
