I met someone

Someone has lit a fire in my soul,
Someone has made me desire to be whole,
This person removed my mask,
This person saw the hero buried under the villian,
She has shined a light on my darkness,
She gave me a purpose.

I want to grow,
I want to change,
I will become the hero she deserves,
I will no longer be that monster,
I am on a better path,
I am strong again.
