Something I can not unsee.
Something I can not explain
Why show yourself to me?

You started as a shimmer
Then a dark shadow across the wall
I am sorry I may have shrieked
But you startled me is all..

How do I explain it
That I saw you standing there
Eyes as blue as an original barbie doll
Black as a raven was your hair

How can I tell someone
I saw their little girl
She came and visited me at home
For what I can not tell

It's not because I don't want to
But I'm still trying to work it out
Was I awake or was I dreaming
All I know is I did shout

I sit up in bed and reality is
It had to be a dream
For noones been to visit me in months
It must all just be a gleam

A vision of dehydration
Like a pond in the desert
My mind is playing games
It feels like it's on high alert.
