When I read this afresh I am reminded how easily it flowed between us. Thanks for working with me, Brenda.

Beautiful. I wish I hadn't run out of nominations and hope someone else picks it up. A wonderful emotional tale of lost love

You both really did a good job writing in sync as well as
making the read flow smoothly with feelings and memories
to be felt...well done you both!

One of the most beautiful collaboration!
I mean you guys nailed it right from the beginning.

    The older I get,
    the more sleep eludes me.

Then in the 2nd and 3rd stanza I deeply felt how the two of you mention the best qualities of each other. Though 2nd stanza gives much vivid imagination, but this line
    'when we were apart.
    Cryptic notes scribbled
    on my calendar,
    our own language of love...

In the 3rd stanza makes it the most beautiful part of this poem.

And the last stanza, shows that your careers pushed you away from each other, but you never stopped thinking good of each other in your hearts.

    Heartfelt poem.
