BROODING

by RAHUL MAHESH   Aug 1, 2017

Keep quiet sweet delicate heart,
Weep no more, silence your tears.
Hush sweet little babe,
Sorrow is inevitable, I am hurting thus.

Wrists are blood ridden,
Smiles have thus become a distant memory.
Quiet down, my lovely soul,
Beauty lies in pieces, like shrapnel to the bone.

The night is long and weary,
Dreary is my mind and each sinew.
Sleep my sweet angel,
I would, if these thoughts forbear.

These sun-kissed cheeks drowned in tears,
The rains appear betwixt clouds of brooding.

Maybe my heart bleeds,
I lie awake deep into the night.
I silence my weeping heart,
Steel my soul;
Brood, yet again.

Awww, I love this. I love the feels of this poem. I love how it flowed. It's supposed to be sad, but I feel so much hope in this.
