Three Strings (live write)

by CJ Maleney   Aug 1, 2017

Pick up your plectrum and play for me,
I can't I've got 3 strings unstrung.
Don't matter son you have 3 left.
So go ahead and strum.

See I've lost my love of music,
The thing for which I once lived.
You will not understand this.
But you are giving me a gift !

A tune I've not shared or heard,
Something that is of you.
Play away with those three strings my son.
Let's see what you can do.

I walked away and praised .
For with those strings, I received a gift.
He proved to me one simple thing
The dance of life ain't over yet.

haha...kids! Actually this one brought back my mind to a post
I once saw on whatsapp about the great violinist Itzhak Perlman.
No matter what happens and even if there is only one string to play
you play not give up and walk away!

    Inspiring write!
