To The Lady:

by Scott Cole   Aug 2, 2017

To the lady who stole my heart
But then put it to good use,
Who showed me what a smile is
And how to unwind and let loose.

To the lady who stands beside me
Not in front of or behind,
Who turned my Soul upside down
With her beauty and her mind.

To the lady who believed in me
And made my Life so much better,
Who did everything in her power
To help remove my scarlet letter.

To the lady who bares my name
And wears my ring upon her hand,
Who's the final piece to my puzzle
My true love of all these lands.
