Judgement

We do not walk these streets to be judged.
for we love, the same as others.
We are no different, of less worth,
but the whispers, stares, we hear and see it all.
But what makes you superior,
makes you any better than us.
Just because our love is between two women,
because it’s just as strong, if not stronger,
for we have fought, we have kept our heads high
and we clasp hands just as others shall and
keep on loving,
against judgement.
