Phone Call From Heaven:

by Scott Cole   Aug 6, 2017

Christi, it's your momma from Heaven
Could I please have a word with you,
There's something that's weighing on your heart
And that something is not even true.

I know you think you let me down
You didn't do all you thought you could,
To help me battle this Colon Cancer
Like you always assumed you should.

But I want you to know my darling
You helped me more than you know,
All that pain that I was up against
You did encouraged me to never let go.

For you were always my ray of sunshine
That one thing that helped me to carry on,
And whenever I thought of giving up
That love you gave me kept me strong.

You did all that you could do for me
So my life thanks you so much for that,
And even though we're now World's apart
Don't ever think that we can't chitchat.

Cause I'm always here for you my love
And our two hearts will always connect,
For I'll always be your enduring mother
Even though my body is not that perfect.

So if you really wanna make me proud
And just as happy as I could be,
Then erase all your doubt from within
And your pain like mine will be set free.
