The Journey of Time

by Bradley Peter   Aug 7, 2017

When a huge eruption ensues, life is sprung,
Violent but beautiful, this is where we begin,
Bursting into existence where before there was none,
The start of a tale that contains virtue and sin,
It twists and turns as the second hand goes by,
Counting minutes, months, and years as they drift,
Sometimes they pass in the blink of an eye,
Though each moment given is granted as a gift,
Our time is so precious, and painfully small,
Live days like they were hours, and love one and all.

Hi Brad, wow, I love this poem. You have managed your rhyming very well here and it flowed really well. It has not only a beautiful, but an important message and I think we need to be reminded of the importance of time every now and then. Wonderfully written. :-)
