My Apology

by AngelaLuisaCory   Aug 12, 2017

Hand in hand with summer rays
The ice spins frozen dew.
It knits a web around my heart
Which keeps me now from you.
I cannot see the image now
Of what I thought was true.
The shadow twines with ivy leaves
And mingles with deep blue.

A very neat and well rhymed piece which flows like water over glass.

This is astounding work and sometimes we have to wrap up our hearts so they don't get hurt again. I like the upbeaty rhythm to this - if read aloud it seems like a heart beating quickly which is pretty awesome.

    Take care
