Loaded Words:

by Scott Cole   Aug 13, 2017

Tongues can spray bullets
Packed full of hate,
Those words can destroy
For goodness sake.

A heartful of anger
A soulful of rage,
Both twisted together
And on a rampage.

They cut like a knife
There're cold as ice,
And nobody wins
When nobody plays nice.

Nothing good comes
When hate makes a stand,
And tongues shoot bullets
At their fellow man.

Oh, I did enjoy this. Short, tightly flowing stanza packed with power and wisdom. Each stanza had it's purpose and something that made it stick out. A great way to start it, too. A very strong opening like. Good length and title, too. Very enjoyable.
