Bully

A lot of the time
people don't care if they hurt you
because they're thinking about themselves.
You will find
that humans are selfish
and care for their needs
before anyone else's.
Do not worry
if you fall victim
to this cycle of selfishness
and hatred
because eventually
it will come back to them.
The individual that
ruined your entire existence
with words you couldn't bear to hear
will one day realize
how much words can hurt a person.
Although they may seem
to have everything sorted out
as they pick and prod
your insecurities,
they do not.
Inside of a bully
is a person that hurts
and doesn't know how to deal
besides lashing out at those
they deem "weak".
Do not let them
dullen your shine
because you are meant to glow
no matter the haze that lingers.
Just because
someone doesn't know how
to handle their feelings
doesn't mean they should infringe
on yours.
It's not okay,
and it will never
be okay,
but you have to learn
that people are cruel.
They will do anything
to make themselves feel superior
in situations where they feel lesser.
Do not fall to their stance;
rise above
and fill the world
with love.
