Once upon a time I had a good life,
But now that's all locked away.
Everything is now so full of strife
And the good is lost in yesterday.
The days used to pass so quickly,
But now they go too slow.
My tears keep falling thickly,
And there are questions with answers I don't know.
Scared is my mind and sad is my soul
My life's ruined and my hearts full of pain
And I think I'll lose control,
If it all happened again.
Life was so good in every way,
But now I've learnt what's good won't stay.
