Order in the Court

by mossgirl19   Aug 17, 2017

Every day,
we would sue each other
For our shortcomings.

Fight over who we are
Plaintiff or defendant
On our witness stands.

Exhausting evidences
To prove the other guilty
Trying to reason out.

Only to end up realizing
This case isn’t going anywhere
Because we are our own lawyers.

We plead, order in the court
And we will come to a halt
Accepting we’re only human.

Wise words, but like the poem here, I'm sure it was gained the hard way. With practice an argument can be sidestepped and a discussion had instead.

Indeed...humans bicker over anything, only to find out it gets them no where.
