My little girl

by Jenny Paradise   Aug 22, 2017

As I sit and watch you play,
I wish I could be here everyday,

You're growing up and I'm missing it all,
Since the last time I saw you you've gotten so tall,

You're voice is changing as wel as your looks,
No longer into dolls and soon you'll be reading books,

Just because mommy isn't always here with you,
Doesn't mean I don't love you cause I do it's true,

But mommy wants to better wants to better her life and can't do it here,
Too many temptations and bad influences in her ear,

Just have a little patience, just a little more time,
Everything will be back to normal and we will be just fine,

Also understand that I'm nothing like your dad,
I love you so much, being away from you makes me sad,

I know I should call more than I do,
I absolutely love when I get to talk to you,

I'm so afraid that you're gonna hate me,
Never think I don't love you, if only you could see,

How much it hurts being gone,
Without you I feel so alone,

You mean everything to me, you're my entire world,
No matter how old you get you're still my little girl,

I hate that I only see you every 2 weeks or so,
It breaks my heart everytime I have to go,

But hopefully one day very very soon,
I'll have you back and I'll be over the moon,

Cause you're my little shinning star,
I love you with all of my heart.
