I JUST LET IT WIN

I JUST LET IT WIN
I fall to the ground, my eyes fill with tears,
there's nobody around, to fight away my fears.
So I sit darkness and i sit alone,
hating this place that I still call home.
It seems misery here is at its worst
all happiness and hope taken away by this curse.
So lifeless and empty deep inside of here,
So smiles and bliss will quickly disappear.
silently will I prayer for a miracle to come along,
to take away this pain, and to wipe away every wrong.
And silently will I pray to the one above,
to send me some mercy and to me his love.
so confused, and so consumed,
by all this misery and all this gloom,
Why do i dwell in what brings me down?
why can't i see all the happiness and smiles all around?
Why does darkness always end up finding me?
I guess its because i'll always let it consume me.
I try to put up a fight, But i always give in,
I try and be strong but I just let it win....
