It's funny how much we can build with words and how much we can destroy. The former is obviously the sensible choice, but we're not always a sensible lot are we? |
So true! Thanks Ben :-) |

Another really solid write Kitty. I sense this is written from the thoughts and perspective of someone on the recieving end of a domestic verbal abuse situation? The reference to 'us' might mean kids are involved as well. I hope this is not from personal experience :-( |
Not so much domestic abuse as maybe how a long series of rows can chip away at love, fondness and respect. I was mostly thinking of love relationships but as I wrote, even rows with siblings crept in too. The need to win an argument often gets in the way of actually resolving the issue ... I've probably been guilty of that myself! |

I really loved this, so well written. I myself have made the mistake at chipping away at something then being horribly sad when I've driven someone away. Ive been on both sides. This is something everyone could bear to read and learn from. |
Thanks Mandy. Yes I think we're probably all guilty of this at some point. I'm so glad you loved it. |

I believe this to be your best rhyming poem. It flows so naturally and hides a sad message within. Well done. |
Hey thanks Jamie, I'm quite proud of this one :-) |

In my own opinion, Women are not equal, they deserve way more than men. |
Thanks Lucifer, although I'm sure most women give as good as they get when it comes to having an argument :-) |

I love this. |

Craig, love This! How very true this is. No matter how upset you may be you still need to speak with respect, discuss not lob grenades. A lot of damage comes about when words, are spewed in anger. |
Hi Brenda, |

I adore this! Almost wish I could use it as a disclaimer when meeting new people. If only that were acceptable ;) |
Haha ... that would be cool eh "pleased to meet you ... please read and sign here ..." |
