Colours of love

by Michael   Sep 1, 2017

You were..

..an array of colours.

Colours; like those of flowers.

Flowers; that were carefully
picked; and planted
together,

..reminding me,
of you.

Begonias...

..with their bright yellow petals; which
reflected a natural glow of
your serenity and
warmth

Lobelias..

..are your eyes; deep blue, that
pierced through your,
lily-white irises.

Geraniums..

...flushed; a redness; that filled
your soft; kissable lips.

Silver bells..

..reminded me of the ear rings
you always loved to wear,

and...

..sweet asylum..

..the subtle; whiteness
of your tender skin.

Your love..
was made of...

...honey..

..pollinated by the
beats of your heart of gold...

which; slowly; trickled,
a spectrum

of..

..sweetness..

..into mine.
