The Unfolding

by Love   Sep 1, 2017

How,
Can ten delicate fingers,
Upon two small frail hands,
Grasp the weight of this world,
When I can't even let go,
Nor unclasp the cruel holding,
Amongst the gripping clutches,
Of this sorrowful world,
That somehow always seems to be two steps ahead of me,
And seemingly always too far out of my reach.
