How I Long for Fall

by Alex Penuelas   Sep 1, 2017

How I Long for the Fall,
And everything that it brings,
Primarily an escape from
The summer's enduring heat.

How I Long for the
Cacophony of falling leaves,
As the wind rustles them
From their aging trees.

The sensual aromas of pumpkin spice lattes,
Pumpkin spiced pastries,
Pumpkin spiced car fresheners,
Pumpkin spiced....pumpkin spice.

Actually who was the
Genius who decided to
Advertise for fall merchandise
At the end of July?

Well, come to think of it,
Can we skip to winter now at this point?
They're already selling santa at Costco.

This made me giggle ... love how we can see your change of thought from the romantic notion of Autumn to what it means in terms of sales ... something we all get cheesed off with I'm sure!
